Translation

古詞を旨として優游涵詠すべし、荻生氏が音読をのミ専とし、山崎氏の送り仮名（かな）をうらげたるなとはいづれも胡服単騎の奴僕読といふものにて聖人優游涵詠の意にあらす、第一鄙劣不敬の至りなり、仮令は論語の紅紫以褻服に為須（せず）と云所もセツプクといふ辞の打聞いまいましければ紅紫（クレナヰムラサキ）を以ては褻（ケ）の服（コロモ）に為（つくら）ざれと読の類ひなり／柡（サク）、唐韻云、柡音永、漢語杪云佐久木、木可為笏也、｛【和名抄　巻五】、朱書｝
