「拝啓仕候、改暦以来未得拝眉候処益栄言能被為入候条奉賀候、誠に無申訳御無音仕不日罷出可申候、此頃以来兎角臨時に被過鞅掌仕候、陳者丹波脩治ヨリ便り有之一包参り付指上申候、又横浜ヨリ未候柑一ツ指上申候、是ハ支那人朱沙桔と申由、英華字典硃砂桔一名大紅桔 Mararin orennge aitrus wobilic 有之、此品なるべし、大紅桔の名穏当と存候、余者拝書可申上候、恐々謹言、二月七日、田中芳男、伊藤先生侍使」
