寛政６年重九前一日、（書於柳北小築）丹波元簡廉夫（刻印「玄簡印」「廉夫」）序。北山山本喜六信有序。寛政６年秋端、医官杉本良（刻印「杉本良印」）序。孫善伯慶（刻印「原善印」「伯慶」）跋（文中に「今茲甲寅（寛政６年）夏六月…）。跋最終丁裏に「双桂先生著述目録」あり、左版外に刊記「寛政六甲寅冬発行 須原屋伊八梓」。巻末に須原屋伊八（江戸東叡山池之端仲町）の「青藜閣発兌目録」６丁。

温泉の効用、入湯法、和漢の温泉治療の沿革、温泉湧出の原理等を論じた書。漢字かな交じり。筑前国三笠郡天拝山の麓、武蔵村の温泉を名湯と称揚する。原双桂の遺著を孫が上梓したもの。
