卜部氏の出自や吉田神道を大成した卜部（吉田）兼倶の著作や言説を批判した書。中臣卜部姓氏事・卜部出自伊豆壱岐対馬三国事・刻本三代実録誤橘永名作卜部平麻呂事・中臣氏奏天神寿詞事・中臣斎部卜部三姓従神事差別事・中臣率宮主及長上卜部等令役亀卜事等について、六国史や旧記類を引き考証する。
