味ハ干鰯ニ不及、故ニ多ク干鰯ヲ用フ、ヲ施ス、是ヲ施屎ノ終リトス、止肥ヲ施ス頃ヨリ百足蔓ト唱ヘ、根元節ニ左右ヘ小蔓ヲ生シ置ク時成熟ニ妨害アル故ヘ、根元ヨリ実ノ一尺程先迄百足蔓ヲ摘去リ、少シク蔓ノ先キ凋ム気味アレハ、最上ノ出来也、其故ハ養ヲ実ニ吸収シ、蔓ノ肥養ヲ妨ル故也、苗ノ発生ヨリ施屎ノミ培鋤セス○但止肥ヲ施シ十五六日目ニ成熟
