｛【十年博覧会解説】〈東京花戸〉、朱書｝○獅子蘇鉄樹ノ大小ニ準シテ鱗中ニ多少ノ白肉アリテ、取テ之ヲ嘗ム、味微甘、薩州ニ大樹アリテ、其肉ヲ取リ製シ、蘇鉄餅トシ食ス｛【十年博覧会解説】〈東京花戸〉、朱書｝○獅子蘇鉄ハ幹ヨリ子ヲ生スル物ヲ八十八夜頃ニ及ンテ之ヲ欠キ取リ、切口ヘ鉄物込ヲ澆キ、日ニ乾ス凡十日、大ナル者ハ其切口ヲ焼テ植ユ、甚タ長シ難シ
