トヾ｛【松前志】、朱書｝、本字本名未詳、方俗ノ称ナリ、亦トヽロブト云フ、是夷方ノ詞ナルヘシ、椵ノ字用レトモアタルヘカラズ、字書ヲ考ルニ、椵ノ字モ亦アタラス、木理ヲ視レハ白樅（モミ）ト云ヘシ、柏樹、柏作柏非、此物ニ近カランカ、和俗柏字ヲ檞トスルハ素ヨリ誤リナリ、此樹北夷地海岸ヨリ茂生セリ、北部カラト島ワキテ多シ、此樹近ロ境内ノ大要材トナレリ
