Translation

文久辛酉十月廿五日、肩輿中ニテ写ス所也、実円ニシテシナノカキニ似テ稍小シ、大サ図ノ如シ、此節色淡緑也、春ニ至リ熟シ食フベシト云、葉ハ瞥見シテ柿葉トハ思ワレズ深緑色、常ノ柿ハ此節紅葉セリ、状冬青一種フリタンバ抔ニモ似又オガタマニモ似タリ、但葉サキ尖ヘリ又シナノカキニ似タル処アリ、落葉スベキトハ思ハレズ／トキワガキ、駿州岡部（オカベ）宿ノ内ニ坂下ト云立場アリ、岡部ヨリ西半里ニシテウツノ峠ノ上リ口也、此処ヲ去ルコト半里ノ山中ニ自生ス、頗ル大樹モアリト云、春食スベシト云／トキワガキ
