Translation

通草、［（名、訂正）、実］八／ツウダツボク、五加科／通草、［実］八、通草、即爾雅離南活脱、山海経寇脱法象本草収之、拾遺曰、通脱木、形状功用具図経、其葉茎中空、梢間作苞、開白花如枇杷、此草植生如木、頗似水桐、冬時茎亦不枯、本草綱目云、蔓生殊誤今人於山草類、雩婁農曰、郭注零佳人植而日灌之、以為樹酉陽雑俎瓤軽白可愛、女工取以飾物、寇脱之製物飾晋唐已有之矣、爾雅翼引潜夫論譏花采之費、以為今通行於世其意以枇黄判白、挿髻飾髩為褥麗而靡物力也／五加科、此樹ノ瓤ヲ以テ紙片ヲ製スル樹、一名通脱木
