鹿児島県阿多郡伊作村中原 宮原五助、甘茶、右ノ品ヲ湯ノ中ニ投シ暫時ニシテ喫スル時ハ甚タ甘味アリ、土人之ヲ好ム者疲労ノ際ハ為ニ気力発スルト、予是ニ於大ニ感スル所アリ、果シテ人体ニ効能アルヤ否ヤ、其性質ヲ実験セント欲シ、本日持参、先生江御覧ニ供シタルナリ／廿五年五月、葉一枚ツヽノ（■■、抹消）シバミタルモノヲ携来、質問ス、水ニ浸シヽバシ見ルニ、ヤハリ土常山トミユ、因テ土常山ノ説記シ遣ス
