水谷豊文尾張人也、精本草当時無與比、常言桃本邦所自有梅従唐来、然森山中有一谷曰梅谷梅数十本、其種不一、村民採為諸由、此観之、豊文之言誤矣、右ハ帆足万里生徒ヲシテ覆文ヲ作ラシメントキノ文也、森ハ豊後球珠郡ニ在リ、旧久留島氏ノ営也、郡ノ四方皆山ナリ、高考ノ為ニ写シ呈ス、明治十一年十二月廿六日　豊前　賀来飛霞再拝　伊藤先生閣下／産也／ヒガンザクラ、豊前宇佐郡西シイダニ村ノ山中ニ自生アリ、又此山中ニ梅ノ自生モアリ、【賀来話】／（梅）
