清蜜尤佳欧陽文忠公帰田録載其香清味美置之樽爼間光彩灼爍如金弾丸珍果也、都人初不甚貴其後因温成皇后好食之由是価重京師、又云金橘生山〓間比金柑更小形色頗類木高不及尺許結実繁多取者多至数升肉弁不可分止一核味不可食惟宜植之欄檻中園丁種之以鬻於市亦名山金柑、本草綱目云金橘生呉粤江淅川広間或言出営道者為冠而江淅者皮甘肉酸次之其樹似橘不甚高、大五月開白花結実秋冬黄熟大者径寸小者如指頭形長而皮堅肌理細瑩生則深緑色熟乃黄如金其味酸甘而芳香可愛糖造蜜煎皆佳、泉州府志云金棗有二種形長者曰金棗形円者曰金橘又云金豆俗呼羊矢橘生山林中蜜煎良佳、江陰県志云金柑実小如弾丸木高三尺許一種長寸許者名馬柑
