●一本堂薬選曰、凡使橘皮宜用薬舗呼為青皮者、即此邦俗呼蜜柑者、就其未黄熟而青緑色、時収采青皮曝乾任使用時水洗剉細以湯浸塩湯浸酢酒浸酢拌瓦焙過麩炒等制皆不可用、又不湏去皮裡白古今医家動輙用橘皮和華一輙滔々皆是以予観之、則橘皮可謂薬品中之鈍漢矣、而又湏陳久塵物為用鈍之、又鈍大愚之至也、雖非無気味而惟是慢緩乏方能耳有己無補于世無亦無欠于事、△橘柑柚橙詳考韓彦直橘譜李時珍、本草綱目所引諸説紛多端終難帰一按橘柚始見書禹貢孔安国註云、小曰橘大曰柚、爾雅云柚条郭璞註云、似橙実酢窃思橘是一類、柚柑橙是一類橘類、皮薄密理光滑其穣味有苦甘酸、三大曰橘中曰包橘小曰金橘、其大者此邦古俗呼怚窒跋捺(タチバナ)、今俗呼殻屋日(コヲチ)、又呼蜜柑但呼穀屋日(コヲシ)者穣味苦呼、蜜柑者穣味甘、今世蜜柑至多穀屋日(コヲチ)甚少、是以満天下用橘皮者皆蜜柑皮也、中者今俗呼怚窒跋捺(タチバナ)、小者俗呼金柑、別有金豆亦其類也、柑柚橙皮厚粗理柑穣味甘、柚穣味酸、橙穣味苦柑、俗呼九年母即郷語孤粘僕(クネンボ)、柚俗呼幽(ユ)、橙俗称達乙(ダイ)々々四種皮味皆苦但柑皮帯辛甘蜜柑皮帯辛、其余種類有数十品其大者有、朱欒蕃橙大同小異皆相近而稍殊愚見如此未知多識者以為何如也、△果部出曰甘者称密柑以紀州者為名品、又有青柑俗呼遇屋蜜干(アヲミカン)、饅頭柑、穿心柑類又有金橘、金豆俗並呼巾干(キンカム)
