Translation

檉、説文河柳、一曰赤茎柳、葉細如糸、似栢而香、試其檉其椐、注疏云、河旁赤茎小楊、陸璣云、一名雨師、爾雅翼云、鄯善国出檉柳、段成式云、赤白檉出凉州、大者無炭、人似灰汁煮銅、可以為銀、通志云、材可巻盤、合前西域伝奄蘓国檉松、爾雅河柳也、俗呼天杉、其樹似松、皮赤葉細、性温、其材可以捲胚、鋸板鋪樓無巌声、過火焼透不延、赤檉亦人謂之三春檉柳以其一年三秀也【華夷花木考　巻一】／ギヨリウ、Tamarix chinensis Lour、蘭山、檉柳、キヨリウ
