時珍、鯧魚、釈名挙一説曰、昌美也、以味名、或云、魚（■、抹消）游於水群魚随之食、其涎沫有類於娼故名、按或説ノ鯧魚ハマナカツヲニアラズ、丹洲ノ考フル所ニテ考フレハ、九州漁夫ノ語レルモノハ必此或云ノ鯧トイフヘキモノニシテ魴（マナカツホ）トハ自（オ）ラ異ナリ、典籍便覧ニ娼魚ノ名モアリ、コレヲ以テ攷ルニ、此図ハ娼魚ニシテ可ナルベキカ
