Content notes
天竺・震旦・本朝の仏教説話を収める。本文各条冒頭に「観音」「霊夢」「仏像」など内容を摘記した見出しを付す。天竺・震旦の説話には末尾に出典を示すことが多い。本朝の説話は口承で伝わったものを書き留めたらしい。口語的表現が随所に見られ、談義説法に用いられた痕跡を残している。漢字カナ交じり。
