Translation

楢（ナラノキ）音秋、｛【松前志】、朱書｝、或ハ檞字ヲカケリ、松前山中此木多シ、薪トナシテハ檪大機（ゴナイタヤ）ナントニハ劣レリ、按ルニ雑木、木理予ヤカナラスシテ美ナルモノ、薪トナシテ必アシヽ、唐韻ニ堅木也ト云、字彙ニ屟也ト云ヘリ。山海経ニ崌山楢杻多ト、即此樹也、是剛木ニシテ車材ニ用ユト注ニ見ヱタリ、紀伊国ナトニテ小カシハト云也、又ホソトモ云ヨシ
