【品物名彙】、ガツマル、榕樹【芳、広群芳フ】、アヨウ、榕樹【桂、桂海虞衡志】、広群芳譜、榕、南州―――――――、榕城随筆、閩中多榕樹、因号榕城、閩以北無此、其在江南則冬青之属也、下略○桂海虞衡志ニ只ソノ根出半身ニ附幹而下以入土等ノ説アリテ、別ニ葉ノ形状ナシ、故ニソノ差別ハ尤不可弁別也、ア木廿／Ficus benghalensis（bengarlsche vijgeboom）、根樹、ガヅマル〈琉球〉／｛ガツマル、朱書｝／木椀の木地｛【中陵漫筆　三篇二】、朱書｝、番国総して土器を用て常の食器とす、漆器を用るハ日本と琉球のみ多く用る、琉球にてハかづまると云木にて木地を作るなり、乃琉球より黒砂糖を入て渡す桶ハ皆此木なり、俗に柳なりと云ハ大に誤りなり、此桶のみならす、箱の類、其外用具ハこの木を用て作る事、日本にて杉を用るかことし
