Translation

十エオ九年八月田中氏ヨリ伊藤ヘ幡桃贈リ来ル添書／清国幡桃試験書、右幡桃之義明治七年清国ヨリ御取寄之上旧勸業寮試験場ヘ御栽付ニ相成引続キ当御苑ニテ御栽培ノ未年々開花致シ候得共、未タ結果成熟ニ至ラズ、半途ニシテ■■致シ遂ニ成熟ニ至ラズ、昨明治十五年十月結果試験ノ為メ繁枝ヲ過半伐取リ且根ノ周囲二尺四方ヲ円形ニ掘リ小石ヲ詰込モ置キ、猶本年六月ニ至テ自ラ樹幹ニ堅モ数條小刀ヲ以テ皮膚ヲ斫割モ且偃曲法ヲ施シ候處、八月上旬ニ至リ該樹ご本ニテ丸百個許結果成熟仕候事、明治十六年八月六日、主任、山本正夫／｛六七、朱書｝
