Translation

相思子有木本蔓生二種木本者葉如槐而小枝左右相排如合歓皂莢之属子扁而純紅蔓生者葉如槐細小引蔓而上子如小豆半截紅半截黒諸書所載往往相混北戸録広東新語［折れ］村一名相思木、一名海紅豆材可作琵琶［虫損］者木本也、其相思子紅豆美人豆之名係二［虫損］通称本草綱目相思子條巳扠紅豆之名而別出海紅豆條恐非其葉似梨而円云者是亦伝聞之訛耳右家君亡羊戦線所考定嘉永二年朧月応櫟斎岡氏之需使弟章夫模二図并録家君所考定之由以贈／榕室、山錫夫録、弦堂、山秀夫書／天保三年壬辰読書室園中下子所生、蔓生相思子、ナンバンアヅキ、一名紅豆
