Translation

異魚、享和壬戌夏月水府磯浜海中所得、其地漁人云未曽知其名謂・下唇ウスク細歯アリ、尖処キレ込深ク内ニ軟皮ノ障子アリ、他魚ニ異ナリ唇ヲ合スル時ハ頭等ワク尖ル、アユナメニ似タリ、鱗甲緻密ニシテ美ナリ、毎鱗細カナル竪筋アリテ横ニ撫レハ本賊ニ似タリ、遍身極黒色ナリ、狗母(ヱソ)魚ニ似テヱソニモ非ズ、肉ハ鱒ノ如ク油多シ、色白シ、或云黒鯉之類ナラント云、非ナリ
